James and Lindsy

James is a medically complex child and has a very rare genetic collagen deficiency called COL4A1. There are only 150 people in the world diagnosed with this, and not only does Lindsy also have this genetic mutation, but her other son Connor has it as well.

James also has Cerebral Palsy blindness, Periventricular Leukomalacia (PVL) and Epilepsy. With an older brother who has Autism and had a CP stroke, Lindsy’s days are very hectic! She had to leave the military in order to provide full-time care for her boys and learned so much about their various medical complexities that one of the doctors actually asked her where she did her neurology residency!

Because of his Epilepsy, James was constantly knocking things away but because of the ENFit connection and the flexibility of the Bolee Bag, Lindsy stopped worrying about him spilling the food or hurting himself.
